41. Cottage Green chalk paint
“Numbers 36 to 41 are ‘the soothing colours’. They are variations on what the English call duck egg, a combination of blue, green and grey. They have distinct differences, but all of them will have a soothing, calming effect. Numbers 36, 37 and 38 are very suited to put in a children’s hospital or day-care. ‘Cottage green’ is inspired by the doors and windowsill colours I have seen in the Cotswolds in England. It’s also similar to the tone of the olives just before they will turn into a purple blue when ripe for the picking.”
The ‘Arte di Vita’ Chalk Paint range has been created by an interior designer, who is also an artist with expert knowledge of colours. The paint is suitable for furniture and walls and has a matte, velvety effect and excellent coverage.
