Tuscan Red Chalk Paint

Posted by W.J.A. van Etten on

In this week’s journal entry we share one of our paint & fabric combinations from the ‘Color Still Life’ shoot; chalk paint nr 45 ‘Tuscan Red’ and hemp fabric ‘Hemp Henna’. The name ‘Tuscan Red’ is inspired by the earthy tones of Tuscany.

Our chalk paint can be used on both wooden furniture and walls indoors. It would look great in a study or a wall in the dining room. Because it’s such a strong colour, we would advise you to use it in combination with, for instance, our chalk paint nr 2 ‘White Moustache’.

On the left Chalk paint nr 45 ‘Tuscan Red’ paired with linen fabric ‘Summerbreeze Ivory’ and on the right chalk paint nr 2 ‘White Moustache’ paired with fabric ‘Stonewashed Hemp Henna’. Draped over the table: linen fabric ‘Venice 24’.

In this picture we show some home furnishings you could combine with ‘Tuscan Red’ and how these would look combined with white in your interior. The colour on the wall behind the panels is our ‘Doleriet’ lime paint that goes with almost any colour of chalk paint from our range. The paint and fabrics are of course available in our online shop.

Do you like ‘Tuscan Red’ and are you thinking of painting a wall with this colour? Consider adding soft furnishings in the matching fabric, such as lampshades or cushions, to repeat the colour in your interior. This creates a calm effect.
